That's one patch every two days!Some of these patches included balance improvements to fix exploits, improve accessibility, remove frustration and more to make the game more fun and fair. Naturally these changes affected the game's difficulty resulting in the current leaderboard no longer being representative of the current state of Swarmlake.Therefore the leaderboard has been reset for the first time since introduction of a persistent leaderboard and the old one temporarily archived. Swarmlake Update 18: Why burst jumping was replaced: Burst jumping is either exploitable or unusable due to looking away which requires enemy pushback to make usable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P91YPnAaeTgBurst jumping causes random deaths since you need to look awayBurst jumping is difficult for the sake of it (look down+shoot+look up instead of just jumping)Burst jumping is hard to learn, hard to master (instead of easy to learn, hard to master)Burst jumping is unusable by less skilled players and on controllersBurst shooting has zero usage outside burst jumpingSo you now jump off the ground and enemies directly below you instead of in front of you using [SPACE] key.
